The first super continent scientists know about is Rodinia, which formed and broke up about 1,1 billion to 750 million years ago. Then came Pannotia, which formed and broke up around 600 million to 540 million years ago. The last was Pangaea, which formed and broke up 250 million to 200 million years ago.
This is believed to have happened several times in the Earth's history.
Pangea.
Pangea
Pangea was the only supercontinent, which Wegner tried to prove. After Wegner died, scientists now believe that Pangea did exist and now believe that there was more than one supercontinent.
Pangaea. It was known as the supercontinent.
Pangaea it was the supercontinent that supposedly consisted of all of the present continents combined...in theory they should all fit together like a puzzle

supercontinent
Wegener named his supercontinent "Pangaea," which means "all lands" in Greek. He proposed the theory of Pangaea to explain how the continents once fit together and have since drifted apart due to plate tectonics.
Pangaea is the supercontinent that once formed from all the continents.
Before it was named Pangaea, all the continents were part of a supercontinent known as "Rodinia." This supercontinent existed during the Neoproterozoic era, around 1.3 billion years ago.
