Tutankhamen was a minor king and is primarily known because his almost intact burial chamber was found in modern times. Little is known about his life. He took the throne at age eight or nine and died at about eighteen or nineteen. One thing thing that's known of his influence is that during his reign a movement began to return Egypt's religion to an earlier form after his father had made radical changes.
