What would be the right thing to do when someone is in need of help but does not want to be helped?

- The old saying, 'You lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink' is what is happening to you. People who have problems have to reach a point where they want to help themselves first and then they will reach out and want their mate's or friend's help. Unfortunately, all you can do is wait until this person decides to help themselves and reach out for moral support and it is important that you get on with your life and let this person know you are not going to hang around to watch them self destruct. You can see them once in awhile, but take time out for yourself and with other relatives and friends.
