The first walks are to teach the puppy how to walk right. AS SOON AS he puts tension on the leash, turn 180 degrees from the direction he is pulling and walk briskly in the new direction, using the command "with me". When he turns to follow you, praise him ("good with me") and give him a treat. As long as he keeps slack in the leash, praise him. As soon as he begins to pull, turn and go again. You must turn and go as soon as your dog begins to pull. DO NOT allow him to pull you for several steps before you turn and go. Walking quickly, with lots of jolly talk, will help focus the dog's attention.

∙ 14y agoYou should only walk your puppy if it has had all of its shots. This is because a lot of viruses are out in the world that could make your dog very sick, and the vaccinations help to prevent this. Once your puppy has all of its shots, you take take it on walks almost anywhere.

Take out your puppy and dry him or her with a dry towel. Squeaky clean! Next, you have to take your puppy out for a walk or two. Puppies and doggies need their daily walk to be healthy and happy. Put on the leash and make sure you pack water too! If you don't take the puppy and walk, the puppy can become fat, or struggle in lota of constequences. Last but not least, Love and care! Puppies need all the sweet cuddles they want. Remember, a dog is part of your family.
