Some stations run a given movie once, perhaps because it's a newer, more "expensive" show and they only want to "buy" one showing. Others run that movie half a dozen times in a week. Just like some movies are pay-per-view, allmovies are pay-per-showing, and the broadcaster will have to pony up for each televised transmission. Broadcasters have to manage their program budget and figure out what they're going to use to fill the air time.
