Currently there are none available but the 10 round factory polymer and occasionally a 5 round factory can be found, polymer also but from what I've heard and read, not quite as prone to the problems with the 10 rounder. There is a place called Out Back Gun Parts, Inc. http://www.outbackgunparts.com that is asking people if they are interested in metal magazines for the 541, look under "Specials" and get on a mailing list for updates. Hope they complete the project.
Depending on caliber, the fixed internal magazine holds three, four, five, or six rounds. The police DM model has a detachable magazine.
A Remington Model 760 magazine "CAN" be used in the Model 742 Remington if they are the same caliber. The 742 rifle is designed to hold the bolt back after the last round is fired. Along the left side of the 742 magazine there is a bolt release button that will allow the bolt to move forward after a full mag. replaces the empty one. The 760 mag. has the same magazine body but does not have the bolt release button so the bolt will not move forward until the mag. is removed.
Yes, Remington makes the 700 in that caliber.
Your Remington model 1903-A3 was made in the year 1942.It was chambered in the caliber 30-06.

how much is Remington model 700 worth how much is a Remington model 760 worth
The value of a Remington model 600 .222 caliber depends on the condition of the gun. One in excellent condition is worth approximately $500, as of 2014.
Remington did not make a carbine in .44 Magnum caliber. They did chamber the Model 788 rifle in that caliber. Do you have a Ruger carbine in .44 Remington Magnum, or perhaps a Marlin in that caliber? sales@countrygunsmith.net
It will vary with caliber.
It's either a model 14 or it replacement 141, the cutoff would be 1935. The mOdel 141/141A was made in .30 Remington caliber from 1936 until 1950. The Model 141 Carbine was made from 1936 until 1942, also in .30 Remington caliber. The .30 Remington caliber was designed to compete with the .30-30 Winchester cartridge but without the rim that the .30-30 used. The reason for the spiraled magazine tube on the Model 14 and 141's is that the owner could shoot a more pointed projectile and not have the bullet tip rest against the primer of the cartridge in front of it possibly causing that primer to ignite that cartridge. A well designed rifle by John Pederson of the Remington design department.

No. The 357 SIG magazine will not fit in a 40 caliber Glock such as the model 22.
