Free MIT Open Courseware can only be found on the MIT website. To access the material you need to have a student account which acts as your login name.
You can take online engineering classes at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Open Courseware. For further information, you may read this webpage: http://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm
It depends on the school you are looking at to be honest. MIT is celebrating their 10th year of MITOpenCourseWare, and they offer a photography course. You could also check out 7 Excellent Open Courseware Collections by googling the term. They are free for the most part as well, so I can't vouche for how good the education would be.
Computer-based language courses are inefficient compared with live instruction such as that offered through the Goethe Institut. BBCLanguages offers a great free program with an option to pay. You could also use MITs Open Courseware program which is free and taught by MIT professors. If you really want to pay for a computer program, you can't go wrong with Berlitz. The company has been around a long time and has a great program.
While most schools in the Portland area charge a small, to a not-so-small, fee for their bookkeeping classes, there -are- several free courses available online. Both MIT's Open Courseware and the SBA (Small Business Administration) courses are available to you online and are free of charge. If a computer and internet is not readily available to you, contact the local SBA office located at 601 SW 2nd ave in Portland for more information. They may be able to give you courses to take, or direct you to someone who offers free courses.
Admissions for MITSOT will be open from 1st Dec 2010.
When looking for a map of the MIT campus try checking out the Campus website where you will find a complete plan of the site and each room and facility available at MIT.
