Where can you found the end of the world in the Bible?

The last book of the New Testament, Revelation.

Answer:

The end of the world is prophesied throughout The Bible. It's found in the prophecy of the Messiah... the "promise of blessing" given to Abraham:

"...in thee SHALL ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH BE BLESSED." (Gen.12:3)

This prophecy, which is a mystery to many people [and virtually unknown to most], is a veiled reference to "man's salvation through Jesus Christ"... the One who spoke those words to Abraham [see John 1:3], and who would one day come in the flesh to open the door of "blessed salvation" to "all the families of the earth."

But, while that door is open to any who knocks on it, today -- it's also very clear that today... all the families of the earth are still "not yet blessed."

That requires the return of Jesus Christ to earth with all the Authority, Power and Glory of God... when He will be revealed to "all the families of the earth" as its King.

THAT'S THE DAY THE WORLD WILL END!

Daniel revealed this end of man's wicked world... the "gospel of the Kingdom of God"... to king Nebuchadnezzar from his own dream:

"Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold [all representations of 'man's errant rule and governments] WERE BROKEN TO PIECES at the same time and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. THE WIND SWEPT THEM AWAY WITHOUT LEAVING A TRACE [man's world, as he knows it, brought to an end]. But the Rock [Jesus Christ] that struck the statue became a huge Mountain and FILLED THE WHOLE EARTH." (Dan.2:35 NIV)

"This was the dream, and now we [God and Daniel] will interpret it to the king. You, O king, are king of kings. The God of heaven has given you dominion and power... in your hands he has placed mankind... You are that head of gold." (verses 36-38)

"...Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom [a fourth government, a fourth system of rulership on earth governing man as he is accustomed to being governed in the world... as we have come to know man's government]... so this kingdom [the end time governing system in the world as we know it] will be partly strong and partly brittle. And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay. (verses 40-43)

"In the time of those kings, the GOD OF HEAVEN WILL SET UP A KINGDOM THAT WILL NEVER BE DESTROYED, nor will it be left to other people. IT WILL CRUSH ALL THOSE KINGDOMS AND BRING THEM TO AN END, but it will itself endure forever. This is the meaning of the vision of the Rock cut out of a Mountain, but not by human hands -- a Rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces. 'The Great God has shown the king WHAT WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE FUTURE. The dream is True and the interpretation is Trustworthy.'" (verses 44-45)

Those are some of the places where to find "the end of the world."

That's the day the world... as we have come to know it, that is... will end.

But the world will keep on going. For a thousand more years, it will go on through to the "Last Great Day" of Judgment:

Jesus Christ will return to earth making war with man's puny military capabilities and his established governments, and his way of life on the earth" -- and HE WILL BRING IT ALL TO AN END.

And He will begin His thousand year rule on earth... teaching it the ways of God and demanding the obedience of all of His subjects -- all the families of the earth. And they will all be blessed who obey Him.

And when the thousand years are done... the Judgment will begin for all the past generations of man. And all that is wicked will be burned up.

"...The Lake of Fire is the Second Death. If anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire." (Rev.20:14-15 NIV)

Then Jesus Christ and those who are saved... the immortal, reborn Children of God -- God's Family: will remake the earth:

"Then I saw a New Heaven and a New Earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea." (Rev.21:1 NIV)

That's what the Bible says about the "end of the world." It will be the end of all sin and wickedness on earth -- and the establishment of Righteousness upon it. It will be the exact opposite of the sin-sick, Satan-guided world we live on now.

Not the "end of the world, totally" -- but the end of Satan and evil in the world.

"... There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne [the Father in heaven, now living on the New Earth with His Divine Family] said, 'I AM MAKING EVERYTHING NEW!' Then He said, 'Write this down, for these Words are Trustworthy and True... He who overcomes WILL INHERIT ALL THIS, and I will be his God and he will be MY SON." (Rev.21:4-7 NIV)

Opinion:

I prefer to say the 'Reign of Man' is coming to an end and not the planet - another epoch is completed. We read in 2 Peter 3 where the physical Universe, including the Earth will be purged by the ever growing Lake of Fire and then in Revelation 21 we see a New Earth with a New Jerusalem coming down from Heaven. God and His Son will live among His new family of spiritual sons and daughters from Earth.
