They urine wash (urinate on their hands and feet) and track it around everywhere, they have a specialized diet that is challenging and expensive to replicate, and they are nocturnal, meaning they are likely to be asleep when you went to interact with them and likely to be awake when you're asleep. There are many more reasons why primates should not be kept as pets.
