"Sherlock Holmes" (2009). Stars Robert Downey Jr."Avatar" (2009). Stars Sigourney Weaver."Up in the Air" (2009). Stars George Clooney.Answer:It would depend on what theatre you were watching the movie at. Movie trailers do not come preattached to the film, they are manually added by the projectionist when they build up a print. (A print of a movie arrives at a theatre on multiple reels and the projectionist builds it up into one continuous reel of film.) For theatre chains, the individual theatres are advised by their booking department as to which trailers and commercials are to be attached to each film.Commercials are designated based on the contract between the theatre chain and the advertisers. Trailers are usually chosen based on the movie theme and/or age range of the viewing audience or on the overall popularity of the theme and/or the film's stars. Therefore, you see trailers for chick flicks at the start of a chick flick, action movie trailers before action movies. You also see trailers for movies with A-list actors and directors even if the genre does not match the movie you are going to be watching.
There are two trailers actually. You can find them on www.google.com and type in "Percy Jackson Movie Trailer".
