Charles 'Charlie' Starkweather (19) went on a killing spree from December 1, 1957 to January 29, 1958. Starkweather, accompanied by his girlfriend, Caril Ann Fugate (14) murdered eleven people (including Fugate's mother, stepfather, and two year old step-sister) in Nebraska and Wyoming. Starkweather was convicted and sentenced to death; he was executed in 1959. Fugate, was sentenced to life in prison, but that sentence was reduced and she served 17 years.
