Where did Galileo Galilei travel?

In 1633 the Roman Catholic Church forced Galileo to stand trial for his belief that the Earth moves around the Sun. Galileo had to publicly denounce the idea and was sentenced to life imprisonment. He spent the the rest of his life under house arrest. Galileo became blind before he died at Arcetri, near Florence, on January 8, 1642.

Galileo was born in pisa he studied there but never recieved a degree he moved to florence in his later years with his family. He died in arcetri where he was under house arrest. i dont know where else hes been though other then one visit to rome.

Galileo presented a theory of heliocentricity, the theory that the sun is at the center of our solar system.

This was abhorent to the christian church which forced Galileo to recant his heliocentrism and placed him under house arrest for the 9 years up until he died a prisoner!
