Where did education start?

When:7000+ years ago, Where: in the Garden of Eden.

God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Bad, or in that 'day' {a thousand years, (Ps 90:2, 4) and (2Pe 3:8)} they would die. He was taught the consequences of his actions.

After sinner Adam's expulsion from Eden he lived to see the murder of his own son, banishment of his killer-son, abuse of the marriage arrangement, and profanation of Jehovah's sacred name. He witnessed the building of a city, the development of musical instruments, and the forging of tools out of iron and copper.

He watched and was condemned by the example of Enoch, "the seventh one in line from Adam," one who "kept walking with the true God." He even lived to see Noah's father Lamech of the ninth generation. Finally, after 930 years, most of which was spent in the slow process of dying, Adam returned to the ground from which he was taken, in the year 3096 B.C.E.They began dying that very day. Adam lived on to 930 years, under the prophetic 'thousand years.

Teaching; and 'learning' for that matter; starts at birth;

At the birth of anything with intelligence.

at whatever DATE each one's birth starts (the dates would be DIFFERENT).

For example, the minute Jehovah God created the first kind-of-life -- Angel-Kind -- that's when teaching started. No doubt Jehovah introduced himself to the very first angel; told the angel the 3 important things any living consious being wonders about: 1) How did I get here? (Who created me?); 2) Why am I here? (What is my purpose in living?) and, Where am I going? (What is my future to be?)

God would have explained (taught them) whatever God felt they needed to know. And then provided PROGRESSIVE teaching as time went on.

Likewise, when Jehovah created another kind-of-life -- Man-Kind -- that's when teaching started.

As Adam sat up; touched himself to see if he was real; Looked around at the things around him; -- Jehovah would have introduced himself to Adam; and told him that He had created him; . . . etc etc. God would have told Adam that those things around him were flowers, trees, animals, water, etc etc. - - - God would have told Adam about his righteous requirement for continued living. -- And the teaching continues.

Humans follow the same general formula with their children. The teaching begins; in small ways at first; but progressively the teaching mushrooms for the little tots.Then on another (unkown) date, they're sent off to school for the START of more teaching. And the story repeats itself millions of time over.

Teaching always was around. Teaching started as merely showing someone how to do things, and has matured, and formed into being taught at Institutes.

Education started many years ago in ancient civilization in the year 3500 BC. Hieroglyphs were developed in Egypt and in 2000 BC the first alphabet was developed through use of hieroglyphs.
