Apparently you can't, You can however catch a Salamence it's last form. I screwed up by catching it with my Master Ball because I lost. So I didn't get Salamence or the ball back. The reason I tried was because I've have caught all of the legendary birds before and I wanted something new. So don't be stupid like me. Good luck catching Salamence!
