Here are some places in The Bible where it suggests that God punishes children for the sins of their father:

Exodus 20:5 distinguishes people who hate God, and people who love God and follow his commandments -- in the case of people who hate him, God does punish children for the sins of the father; but in the case of people who love him, he shows mercy: "For I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation of those that hate me, and showing mercy to thousands of those that love Me and keep My commandments."

Numbers 14:18 seems to distinguish between the truly guilty, and people who get caught up in more everyday types of sinning and fighting: "The LORD is long-suffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation."

Jeremiah 32:18 reads like a short-hand version of the excerpts mentioned above: "Ah, Lord Jehovah! [...] You show loving-kindness to thousands, and repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their sons after them."

See the link below for more examples.

Also...Shakespeare wrote that in "The Merchant of Venice," act III, scene V, line 1.

You are probably referring to the sin of 'idolatry' found here:

Exodus 20:4-6

Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

4 `Thou dost not make to thyself a graven image, or any likeness which [is] in the heavens above, or which [is] in the earth beneath, or which [is] in the waters under the earth.

5 Thou dost not bow thyself to them, nor serve them: for I, Jehovah thy God, [am] a zealous God, charging iniquity of fathers on sons, on the third [generation], and on the fourth, of those hating Me,

6 and doing kindness to thousands, of those loving Me and keeping My commands.

Why did God say Judas Iscariot family would be punished for many generations?

God did not say that. It is nowhere in the Bible, and directly contradicts God's word in Deuteronomy 24:16 Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their fathers; each is to die for his own sin; and Jeremiah 31:29-30, "In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eats the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge."

Where in the Bible does Abraham tell fathers to bless their children?

Nowhere does Abraham tell fathers to bless their children. But Jacob in Genesis 48:20 says: "And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless [their children], saying, G-d make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh:" Read all about it in http://www.answers.com/topic/genesis-48

What was the last thing God said about the Israelites in the Bible?

According to tradition, Malachi was the last of the Hebrew Prophets to die. So the last thing would be at the end of his prophecies, "Behold, I will send you Eliyah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers back to the children, and the heart of the children back to their fathers..."

Is there a bible verse that talk about a son turning his parents to Christ?

The passage that springs to mind is at the end of the Old Testament... but it's not worded quite that way: "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful Day of the Lord: and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the children with a curse." (Malachi 4:5-6)

Can children born out of wedlock enter the gates of Heaven?

Children born out of wedlock can certainly enter heaven if they fulfil the conditions for salvation, namely repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. They are not excluded under the New Testament system of religion although there were some prohibitions which were in place in the Old Testament under the Mosaic Law.At the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15 this matter of keeping the law was specifically discussed and those who wished to impose the Old Testament legal system on Christians were soundly 'defeated'. No such prohibition was mentioned or even considered there or in any subsequent deliberations of the Christian church.According to the Old Testament*** They cannot (implied)***Deuteronomy 23:2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.Addendum; If the B's cannot attend the "congregation of the Lord", then it is implied that the B's cannot enter heaven.*** They can (implied) ***Deuteronomy 24;16. Did the old testament end with the threat of a curse?

So it would appear. In the King James versionthe last book is Malachi, and the last verse of that isMal 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Which church did Jesus lead before he died?

The "church in the wilderness." "This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto Me; him ye shall hear. This is he, that was IN THE CHURCH IN THE WILDERNESS with the angel which spake unto him in the Mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the Lively Oracles [the Bible] to give to us." (Acts 7:37-38)

Does the son inherited the sin of the father?

No, God says in The Bible quite specifically that he does not: Deu 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin. This is repeated just to make certain we get the message:2Ch 25:4 But he slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die forhis own sin. This is repeated in the New Testament:Joh 9:1-3 KJV And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. [v.2] And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? [v. 3] Jesus ed,Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.A particular sin or crime that has been committed is not passed on from one generation to the next. However, the tendency to commit a particular type of sin or crime is passed on from one generation to the next because it is learned behavior. What is passed on from one generation to the next is the father's attitude toward committing a particular sin and the strong likelihood of passing this learned behavior on to his son (or daughter). For example, if the father is a drunkard his son may be inclined towards Alcoholism. Children learn what is acceptable behavior from their parents, and it is not what they say: it is what they actually do: actions always speak louder than words.
