In the power distribution box in your engine compartment , maxi-fuse # 4 ( 20 amp ) is for your power windows on a 1998 Ford Ranger Ford states to disconnect your battery before servicing anything in the PD BOX , which means your Ranger will have to relearn its idle , the clock and radio stations will have to be reset etc.
