On the 1999 Grand AM GT the fuse is located in the fuse box under the hood. It is in position 34, a yellow 20 amp fuse. This information is found in the owner's manual. There is a fuse puller in this fuse box and there should be a spare fuse in the fuse compartment in the driver's side fuse box cover. Don't forget to replace the spare fuse when you use it so next the time you need it you will have one. This information can be found in your owner's manual. Hi On my Daughters car it's on the drivers side of the dashboard when you open the door there is a small panel that comes off and the fuses are under it. This is on a 1996. Others can be on the drivers side under the dash above your left foot, and also there are some that have another fuse block under the hood as well the 96 has them both. Located front drivers fender near the front lights it's a black plastic cover that says fuses. HTH 442W30 Open the drivers door, you will see a small removable panel at the end of the dash. Simply open the panel and replace the 15A (blue) fuse, the layout is printed on the inside of the panel you removed. Did you ever find out where the cigarette lighter fuse was located on the 98 Camry? I have a 00 Camry and im looking for my cig. lighter fuse. If the fuse is good and the cigarette lighter still does not work, the wire attaching at the cigarette lighter itself has probably burned or broken off necessitating the lighter be changed. You have to check your fuse for the lighter...if that doesnt work pep boys or autozone has a little to that they touch it with to see if it has any power if not then you might have to remove your dash to make sure wires are not rubbing or that everything is connected and plugged right
