No he makes glass items, he is east of fallarbor town if you step in the grass you get ash for your soot sack if you take it to the house in the route he will make glass for the ash you picked up he will make you flutes and a pretty chair (for your base) and a pretty desk (also for your base). Flutes can heal status problems and lure or repel Pokemon you definetely want them also one Flute the red flute cures infatuation.
