What would you like to do?
To set the compass, find a LARGE empty parking lot. Drive counterclockwise around 10-12 mph; about the second revolution you'll see the compass go into "--" display; by the f…ifth or so you'll see it pick up the proper headings and you're done. On the other hand, if it's like mine, there's a sensor somewhere that went out. I can drive in circles all day and no matter what, I'm still driving SW regardless of direction! This worked on my 2000 Chrysler Town & Country. THANKS!!
4 cylinder it is under the housing where the upper radiator hose hooks to the engine. 6 cylinder it is under the housing where the lower radiator hose hooks to the engine.
It's located in the front wheel well. Remove front left wheel, then unscrew battery door. Actually, there's no reason to remove the driver's side front wheel, just …turn wheel to left and right behind the wheel you'll find an access panel, remove this and there's your battery. Recommend removing negative post first to prevent "short circuit" when removing positive terminal. Good Luck!
It is built inside the distributor on the 2.5L.
Pop out the bezel around the radio and note the 5/16 bolts (4 of 'em ) holding the main cluster bezel down. Remove the Fuse Access door on the driver side with the door open a…nd remove the 5/16 screw just inside the access area. Remove them and GENTLY pull up on the assembly until it begins to pop out. The entire assembly should lift out from around the instrument cluster. Remove the 4 screws on the cluster (same size as the others) and lift the cluster. Lay the cluster down upside down and CAREFULLY unplug the cluster. One Blue, One Black connector. VIOLA! it's out. Replace in the reverse order.
Check the crank angle position sensor. It is located on the left side (drivers), at the crank shaft. There is one fastener and an electrical plug to remove the sensor. I found… it was easier to get off and back on by removing left front wheel and going through the wheel well.
