I don't think that there would be an answer to this question, it's based on what you think is a good operating system and what you think isn't.
From a developers point, I think Windows 7 would be the best for me as I don't like the apps feature and the tablet features also.
Windows 8 has new interface that has all your apps in one place.
1. Windows 8 uses WDDM. Windows 7 uses Aero. Which gives it a more better look!2. Windows 8 allows you to play mobile apps, while windows 7 doesn't 3. You can transfer data from a windows phone or tablet to your desktop.
Asphalt 8 will not be able to run on Windows 7. It can only run on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.
There is no Windows 8.
Windows 8.1 is more stable than Windows 7 because it comes with more security features and with Windows Defender as default antivirus. However, in order to have a better user experience, I recommend to have a computer or a laptop with at least 8 GB of DDR 3 memory installed.
windows 7
Windows 7 by a lot.
:) Now This question is kind of easy and is a personal question. Windows 8 and 7 is better because it's your own opinion. You need to try both by going to a store like "Best Buy" or going to "Wal-mart" that has computers on display for you to try out. Now once you tried both (Which i recommend you to try them both out for a 10 minute- 20 minute trial) out, you can know which is better. But in my opinion, i have windows 7, but since Windows 8 is new, its probably more advance, which results, Windows 8, is better. If this helps you a lot, please like it and any questions mail me at smithjustene@gmail.com :)
