The Planet Is Jupiter, The Reddish Spot Is Called The 'Eye'.
The best known feature of Jupiter is the Great Red Spot, a persistent Anticyclonic Storm located 22° south of the equator that is larger than Earth. It is known to have been in existence since at least 1831, and possibly since 1665. Mathematical models suggest that the storm is stable and may be a permanent feature of the planet. The storm is large enough to be visible through Earth-based telescopes with an aperture of 12 cm or larger.
The ovall object Rotates counterclockwise, with a period of about six days.
The Great Red Spot's dimensions are 24-40,000 km × 12-14,000 km. It is large enough to contain two or three planets of Earth's diameter.
The maximum altitude of this storm is about 8 km above the surrounding cloudtops.
Storms such as this are common within the turbulent atmospheres of gas giants.
Jupiter also has white ovals and brown ovals, which are lesser unnamed storms. White ovals tend to consist of relatively cool clouds within the upper atmosphere. Brown ovals are warmer and located within the "normal cloud layer". Such storms can last as little as a few hours or stretch on for centuries.
Even before Voyager proved that the feature was a storm, there was strong evidence that the spot could not be associated with any deeper feature on the planet's surface, as the Spot rotates differentially with respect to the rest of the atmosphere, sometimes faster and sometimes more slowly. During its recorded history it has traveled several times around the planet relative to any possible fixed rotational marker below it.
In 2000, an atmospheric feature formed in the Southern Hemisphere that is similar in appearance to the Great Red Spot, but smaller. This was created when several smaller, white oval-shaped storms merged to form a single feature-these three smaller white ovals were first observed in 1938. The merged feature was named Oval BA, and has been nicknamed Red Spot Junior. It has since increased in intensity and changed color from white to red
mars is the most well know planet with such features
its mars that has iron oxide that makes it reddish!
Mars appears red and is nicknamed the red planet
Mars: mostly reddish, brown, though with some darker regions, and also white ice caps.

Neptune has a blue with a red rim around it
Mars appears red, even from earth, due to the large amount of Iron Oxides on the surface - a bit like rust.
Mars is the "Red Planet".Mars is the red planet because it looks red with various oxides of iron (hematite mostly) in very, very fine particles, and trace amounts of other elements including titanium, chlorine and sulfur.Mars is known as the Red Planet because of its rust color. Some time in the past Mars had an atmosphere with oxygen and something happened and the oxygen all went into the soil/rock which then became oxidized. This means it is theoretically possible for us to extract oxygen from the ground if a colony was ever sent to Mars. The red planet is the nickname given to Mars because of its slight reddish appearance. You can see the reddish appearance with your own eyes, but the redness is due to a rusty layer and it is only a few millimeters thick.Mars...Mars, the fourth planet in our solar system and the next planet out from us, is known as the "Red Planet" because of the high levels of iron oxide present on its surface which gives the planet a red hue.Mars. It appears red, even from earth, due to the large amount of Iron Oxides on the surface.Mars(a little on Jupiter) is the planet which is all red. It is red because it is rusty in colour and it is made out of iron.Mars is known as the red planet. Mars is sometimes called the red planet.

Jupiter-it's called the Great Red Spot.
Neptune has a blue with a red rim around it
Mars appears red when seen from the Earth and sometimes Jupiter can also appear red.
Mars is known as the red planet. This is because the iron in the soil gives it a red color. Mars is thought to have once had lakes and oceans.
Mars is commonly called "The Red Planet". Mars is, essentially a vast desert, with quite a bit of iron oxides in the soil. Reflecting the sun's light (the way we see it on earth) it appears somewhat reddish, as has been noted since antiquity.
The FIRE PLANET appears red and smoking from orbit. You will find it at X-83 Y-20.
Mars appears red, even from earth, due to the large amount of Iron Oxides on the surface - a bit like rust.
Actually, it is Mars that's known as the "Red Planet", because the planet literally IS red. And it shines with a reddish glow in the sky. Jupiter, on the other hand, is visible as a white dot with the naked eye. With a small telescope, you can see the bands and the Galilean satellites.
