him and getting the dogs and him and himself

who's him? :o

"him" is Billy. One of the conflict's in the book is in the beginning where billy has what he calls "puppy love". Billy really really wants dogs, but not just any kind of dogs; Billy wants red bone coonhounds. He says his dog wanting or "puppy love" became so bad that he started seeing, smelling, and even hearing dogs. The conflict in the beginning of the book is basically Billy wanting the dogs but his parents not letting him have one because they have no money and Billy's mom says hunting is dangerous for someone his age.
