North Korea's government does not function like the US government, so there is no exact match for the position of "vice president".

There is no "President", like in the US. Instead, they have an "Eternal President", Kim Il Sung, who died 20 years ago. His grandson, Kim Jong Un, is the current ruler of North Korea; he is officially the supreme commander of the military and the head of North Korea's largest political party. Kim Jong Un's father, Kim Jong Il, is the "Eternal Chairman" of the military, even though he too is dead. The ruler of the country has always chosen his successor, and the rulers have always been from the Kim family. For this reason, North Korea is sometimes called a kingdom.

Below Kim Jong Un, there is a large government apparatus that runs the country. The official head of state (that is, the person who represents the country in major diplomatic functions) is the President of the Presidium, who is sort of like the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the US; currently it is Kim Yong Nam. Below him are two vice presidents of the Presidium, and they are Yang Hyong Sop and Kim Yong Dae.
