(Well for me i'm an expert on this guy) On night when Leo and his mom were closing up shop, Leo's mom, Esperanza Valdez, forgot her keys in the shop. (she was a mechanic) So Leo waited and suddenly all of the doors closed and locked. Gaia was the one behind this, and Leo was overwhelmed and ended up burning the place along with his mother.
