Nicolo and Jacopo are two brothers who love their sister a lot ie. Lucia. The age of Nicola is 13 and of Jacopo nearly thirteen which means they have just started of being teenagers. They are very skinny which shows that they don't eat sufficiently. Inspite of being of age 12 and 13 they are very mature which can be seen on their faces. They do many works to get their livelihood such as selling newspapers, polishing shoes, working as a guide. They love their sister, Lucia a lot as they themselves don't wear or buy any luxury but for their sister they bought fruits and magazines. They are very mature and self dependent kids.

What is the character sketch of the narrator in Two Gentlemen of Verona by a j Cronin?

A.J. Croninâ??s story of two young brothers sacrificing to care for their stricken older sister contrasts with the gentlemen in Shakespeareâ??s â?? Two Gentlemen of Veronaâ?? but helps define what a true gentleman is. Shakespeareâ??s friends use lies and deceit despite their status as gentlemen, whereas Croninâ??s have a nobility that belies their circumstances.

How do you spell the word gentlemen?

The term is one word "gentlemen" when used to mean an assembled group of men (e.g. ladies and gentlemen), or male individuals in general. The two words "gentle men" has an entirely different meaning.

How does the story two gentlemen of Verona give hope to the society?

The war had destroyed everything the boys had. They lost their home and their father was killed in the war as well. Until the war they led a cultured and comfortable life. The war had led them to the streets, exposed them to bitter cold and driven them to extreme starvation. However, it did not fill them with despair. They set to build what was left after the war. They found their sister suffering from tuberculosis of the spine, got her admitted to a hospital and worked very hard to pay for her treatment. The boys' sacrifice, their devotion and the maturity they displayed at such a young age promises a new hope for the society. The destruction caused by the war had not broken their spirit. Rather it filled them with a new energy to rebuild from what was left after the war. In this world where values have eroded, these boys and their work make a promise. Their selfless action, devotion to duty, hard work without grumbling, keeping alive their spirit despite adverse circumstances etc. give us promise of a greater hope for society.

How do you use imbroglio in a sentence?

The political imbroglio also appears to endanger the latest International Monetary Fund loan package for Russia, which is considered critical to avoid a default this year on the country's $17 billion in foreign debt. __________________________________________________________________ I see, from the mutual blackened eyes and bloody noses, that you two gentlemen were involved in an imbroglio.

This is a line from Act I Scene 1 of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. The line is spoken by Escalus, the Prince of Verona. He is addressing Montague and Capulet whose servants have started a brawl in the marketplace.
