"Asalamu Alaykum, Warahmatulahi Wabarakatuhu" The 1884-1915 Usurper as by historical facts did not have any heir and was childless. After the 1915 signing of the Carpenter Memorandum Agreement that he signed in exchanged for a lifetime monetary pension and amenities given by the Americans, he passed away, according to his supposed "private heirs", due to poisoning in June 7,1936. In 1939, there was a contraversy of who was to receive the lease rental payment of North Borneo being paid to a Sultan of Sulu. So the British high court in North Borneo passed judgment to any Kiram claimant. It took 21 years later in 1957 during the advent of late registration of births that an Ismail Kiram claimed the lease rental payment as "Private Heir". However, sovereignty was not in issue....even if sovereignty was in issue, that court, as by international law, do not have the competence to rule on the issue of sovereignty, moreover, as being a civil non-Muslim court ruling the said "private heir" as a successor sultan or successor to sovereignty. Besides, Usurper-sultan jamalul kiram-II was replaced by a Highest Spiritual religious Sovereign head in 1915 and the latter had heirs to sovereignty. In 1962 and in 1969, the Kirams gave the Government of the Philippines an Irrevocable Power-of-atty giving up, if any, their claim to sovereignty, to the Philippine Republic for Philippine claims over North Borneo-Sabah to be under Philippine sovereignty without the knowledge or consent of the rightful heir and government of the Sultanate of sulu from Sultan Pulalun and his Adinda heir-apparent. The 1969 transfer of Kiram's supposed sovereignty to the Philippine Government allegedly asserted by the Kirams, the plan to take North Borneo-sabah by force and invasion which prompted the recruitment of Suluan recruits called "Jabida" by Col. Martilino (who converted to Islam marrying four wives) for "Operation Merdeka". Made to understand that they were recruited to fight Communist rebels. However, discovering that they were to fight brother Muslims in North Borneo-sabah, they declined and wanted to leave. This was looked upon as a Mutiny and some 450-600 recruits were massacred and was known as the "Jabida Massacre". An AFP Army Staff Sergent, who escaped-AWOL (absent without leave) trported this incident to the Media and was Public News. This incident also promted the emergence of the Moro National Liberation Front or MNLF. The News almost brought Malaysia (administering over North Borneo-sabah) and the Philippines into the Brink of War. The 1884 Usurper-Sultan Jamaul Kiram-II (Amirul Kiram Awal-II) in the historical books allegedly claimed to be the son of the 1823 Sulu Sultan Jamal Ul-kiram-I who happens to be the father of Sultan Pulalun. And the present Kirams alleges that they came from Muwalil Wasit, the brother of the 1884-1915 Sultan Jamaul Kiram-II (Amirul Kiram Awal-II), however, Muwalil Wasit (Sultan Jamal Ul-Kiram-I) is the proper name of the father of Sultan Pulalun. And the present Kirams alleges that Jamaul Alam (Agdam) is Jamaul Agdam Kiram, likewise, Badaruddin Kiram-II and Amirul Kiram Awal-II made to read as Jamaul Kiram-II. These supposed "Private heirs" claims to have filed their claim in 1936 when in fact the historical records shows the claimed in 1957. Besides in September 20, 1936, President Quezon sent a Memorandum that serve noticed prohibiting any datuship claiming sovereignty or sultanate government in Mindanao and Sulu. So, how could they have claimed. In cullussion, the Philippine government stated that the Kirams tried to claim in 1915 after the Carpenter Agreement and who were dissuaded because the successor to sovereignty was the Philippine government as claimed by the government itself because accordingly the Sultanate had passed out of existence. However, the Philippine government allowed the Kirams to receive the lease rental pyment since 1915. Which is tacitly having waive any Philippine rights to that sovereignty and moreover, which could never be succeeded upon or ruled upon by non-Muslims as by law. So, there is only one heir and that is coming from the Maharaja Adinda of Sultan Pulalun, H.R.H. Sultan Sharif Maulana Paduka Ahmad Carpenter Arpa-V ibni Maharaja Adinda Taup Angging (Anddin) Zein Ul-abidin Al-marhum Sultan Sharif Ul-hashim Abu'Bkr Mohamad Shah Awang Anak Betatar.
