Jeno Adam was the founder of the Kodaly theory of music. Aldo known as the moveable "do". Llazlo Hallaz was a friend. Find more info at the New York Symphony. Mr. Hallaz passed away approximately 2001. They were both very fine men as well as phenomenal musicians. More infor can also be found by searching Hungarian musicians.

The handsigns are from John Curwen, 1816-1880, who promoted using do-re-mi, etc., in England. Kodaly and others such as Orff have used the hand signs in music education.

Zoltan Kodaly was born on December 16, 1882 and died on March 6, 1967 at age 84. Zoltan was a great composer.
