Good things come to those who wait. It's simple, really. Those who wait are given the gift of patience. If you rush things, it becomes sloppy, and it usually turns out badly. However, if you're patient and you wait, the results are usually better.
"Not necessarily, sometimes you gotta be aggressive and take what you want."
Ah, but then, would they be good things? They may be what you want, but that's a different thing.
That saying isn't actually in The Bible! It is an old English proverb. It was particularly popularized by a Heinz ketchup and Guinness alcohol commercial in the 1980s and 90s.

This verse is not in the Bible. It is just a traditional proverb that people sometimes use to remind one another to be patient. The Bible does say things about patience and the hope of good things in the Kingdom of God, but the exact words "all good things come to those who wait" are not in the Bible. From the Christian point of view, this proverb is not true. Patient people are not always rewarded on earth, and the critierion for receiving good things hereafter is simply being a Christian.
Good things come in small packages. Good things come to those who wait.
The idea of graves bursting open is mentioned in Matthew 27:52-53 in the New Testament. It describes how, at the time of Jesus' resurrection, the tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. This event is symbolic of the power of Jesus' resurrection and the defeat of death.
Shan should wait for someone better to come along in her life. The Bible says that good things come to those who wait, and I think she should wait and see that someone better for her to come along.
John 5:28-29 states "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment."
You learn to serve others first, to be quick to listen, and to be slow to anger.... Those are just a couple of the multiple amounts of good things you learn in the Bible.
you did, just now
The Bible has great encourages verses for Christians to be enlightened by such as this: Luke 6:45 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks
28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Wait. As the saying goes, "all good things come to those that wait!"
Here is a similar verse:The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.(Psalm 34.10)"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."(Romans 8:28)
Are those your books? Please put away those clothes. Those gifts are for my sister. How much do those apples cost? Good things come to those who wait.
