Rehoboam was the first king of the separate kingdom of Judah. His son Abijah was king after him. Some of the time you will find his name as Abijam, but that name is considered a clerical error. Abijah is probably correct.

Jeroboam I was the king of the northern kingdom (Israel) during Abijah's rein.
