Every member of the band, other than Nick Mason (drums), contributed songs to the Pink Floyd music catalogue, with Roger Waters and David Gilmour writing the most. However, some songs (such as 'Echoes') are attributed to the full band, as they were true collaborations (as opposed to one member writing a song then presenting it to the band).
Mostly Roger Waters, until he and David Gilmour fell out... So then it was Gilmour's turn, but he wasn't really that good!

no in fact they bought a goat they named Pink Floyd (hence the name of the band) to sing for them or spout wise words as they got high! also the main reason people enjoy getting high on their music is to be able to understand the true message of Pink Floyd.
