Many aren't so ignorant, even if some are. Many are aware of atmospheric science and know what a normal contrail is or isn't.
It is a fact that there exist "non-standard" contrails out there, and many have seen them, but the ones who does not want to believe this continue to deny the existence of such things, just because THEY have NOT seen this. So it is not part of THEIR reality. Is not this quite judgemental, "know-it-all" attitude and a denial of anything going on outside their own little sphere of awareness?
