CD4 cells (which HIV destroys) are responsible for locating infections in the Human Body and co-ordinating the destruction of those infections. Healthy People have between 700-1500 (depending on source) AIDS sufferers have below 200 (note if CD4 count rises above 200 due to medication they are still classified as having AIDS) The low CD4 count allows Infection to enter the body and replicate with little to no resistance. What can be minor to a healthy person could prove fatal to an AIDS sufferer.
its because the AIDS bassicaly shuts down your immune system so its sorta like virus that makes your body kill itself except its for immune system so therefor you body haves nothing to help with infection so hope and prey is last hope
It isn't vulnerable. If you know how much climate change and pollution we people are making, you'll see it's your guys' fault. It's all our faults.
The HIV virus.
because its on a fault line
It is irrelevant to AIDS patient.Cold weather can affect a normal person and so an AIDS patient. Since the patient has immunocompromised immunity the patient may feel sick more than the normal. Other than than there is no connection between cold weather and AIDS.
HIV destroys the Immune system causing a person to develop AIDS. People with AIDS have a very weak Immune system that allows infections to enter the body with little to no resistance. Its these infections that kill a person. 26 infections are "AIDS defining" and include 2 cancers, thrush and Pneumonia as examples. So HIV does not kill but it is the cause of AIDS which can.
AIDS is neither a virus nor bacterium; it is a syndrome (a series of conditions) caused by a virus called HIV (human immunodeficiency virus). This viral pathogen, which targets the cells of the immune system, often leads to the development of AIDS in HIV-positive people.
This is a member of the normal microbiota for most people, and it is difficult to prevent contact with it.
AIDS destroys the immune system, which makes it difficult for the body to fight infections. Aids virus kills the helper T Cells so they can't protect the body from infections.
AIDS is Acquired Immune Deficient Syndrome. Actually, it's Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome. Addendum: it's the 3rd stage people go through after an infection with HIV. Basically, your immunodeficiency system fails, so you get all kinds of "common" diseases, and nosocomials (bacteria,fungi,... that live in and on your body without causing trouble) also cause infections. When untreated, AIDS patients die from the combination of a lot of "common" infections. I assume AIDS Sensitisation is informing people about this disease, so that they can take precautions, but also don't overreact when having contact with an aids patient.
AIDS patients are susceptible to a variety of infections, commonly known as opportunitistic infections. They are so named because the infections take advantage of a person's weakened immune system to strike.Among the most common infections are:Kaposi's SarcomaPneumocystis carinii pneumoniaOral thrushHerpes
Acquired Immune Deficeny Syndrome. (AIDS) attacks your immune system so you can't fight off infections. For example, a cold can become deadly if you catch it when you have AIDS.
There really is no way to tell if you have aids, so you need to go the doctors t get tested. There can be signs that you might have aids though, aids lowers your immune systems ability to fight of infections so if you continually are getting sick being tested is the smart chose.
Once a person with HIV progresses to have AIDS (in 8-10 years on the average), his immune system is so weak that many common infections begin to attack him. Diseases like Pneumonia, TB, some specific cancers, fatigue, vision loss, brain damage are commonly occurrences among AIDS patients. Death results eventually if these infections (called "opportunistic" infections) are unchecked.
HIV is an infection that LEADS to AIDS. So, most likely, people with HIV are very likely to get AIDS.
Aids; hiv.
The main problem is that the immune system is severely compromised ... so that you "catch" bizarre infections and even cancers.
