∙ 10y agoThat's easy..Love! We were created with 1 purpose, and 1 purpose alone: we were created for love - to receive God's love and to give God love.
Since we aren't perfect, we allowed sin to separate us from God, so He had to do something about it because He couldn't bear to be kept from us! The only way to reconcile us to Him again was for Jesus to give His life for us.
Now, because Jesus died and rose again, we can be with God if we so choose. And those who choose Him get to spend eternity with Him! :)
