Why did the finale for Scrubs season 9 the suck and why didn't it have JD and Elliot in it It was the last Scrubs and it was a normal episode that looked like it could fit in the mid of the season?

there was no season 9, season 8 was the finale. the last episode on season 8 is my finale pt. 1 and 2

season 9 follows the new interns and Lucy Bennet is narrating
Season 9 doesn't completely follow the same story as the first 8 seasons. Most of the main characters have left and moved on to other things. Bill Lawrence actually got in a slight argument with ABC because they wouldn't allow him to change the name for season 9. He wanted it to be called Scrubs Med. So in a way season 8 was the end of Scrubs but it wasn't the true end.
