However, the majority of Albanians do so because they are very patriotic and proud of their culture, love and enjoy it and would like for it to be a part of their (and their children's) lives. Albanians are people who are in touch with and respect their roots and history, and because they are brought up with such respect and knowledge of their past, they cherish their background and being with others who feel the same way.
Nowadays you will find that plenty of Albanians don't let this patriotism judge their love life, but for others it is a natural magnetism towards their own kind. You will find Albanians in Albanian countries who marry non-Albanians as well.
