Regardless how you read the particular Scripture it never says He saved one or both men. It is traditionally translated this way, Luke 23:43New King James Version (NKJV)

43" And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." or what some consider the correct idiomatic expression of Jesus' day as, "I say to you today, you will be with Me in Paradise."

The placing of the comma is a more recent event as the original writings did not use them. Also, Jesus knew and gave as His only sign of His being the Messiah as the sign of Jonah being 3 full days and 3 full nights in the belly of the great fish. Jesus was in the tomb for 72 hours before being seen early during the dark hours of Sunday. So 'today' could not happen at a minimum.

Who was the third thief that Jesus Christ had saved from being crucified?

Jesus didn't save any thief. He was crucified alongside two common thieves, as it was easier to do them all at once rather than individually. He was crucified as the option instead of Barrabas, a murderer who was released through an apparently traditional public "forgiveness".

WHY DID PONTIUS PILATE EXECUTE JESUS?

Pontius Pilate did not want to have Jesus crucified. The Sanhedrin (a Jewish priestly court) accused Jesus of blasphemy in relation to Mosaic Law. Some of its members brought Jesus before Pilates accusing him of sedition against Rome for opposing the payment of taxes and for saying that he was a king. Pilates did not think that Jesus was a threat. He tried to save Jesus by using a custom of releasing one prisoner for Passover (a Jewish festival). He brought Barabbas, a criminal and told the crowd to choose between him and Jesus. The crowd demanded Barabbas to be freed and Jesus to be crucified.

Why jesus crucifide on the cross?

Jesus was crucified on the cross to save us from our sins, as the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1.23. "But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God."

Was Jesus crucified because he was the son of God?

jesus wasn't crucified because he was the son of God, but rather he was sacrificed so that humanity's sins could be atoned for. In order to send a perfect sacrifice for all of humanity, God had to come to earth "himself," via his son, Jesus. So the answer to your question is, yes, in a sense, but the real reason for Jesus' sacrifice is because of God's love for humanity. It was the only way to save us.

Is it possible to born yourself?

It is not possible to born yourself because I believe that Jesus is the only one that can save you. Jesus was sent down from heaven and born unto Mary. He was perfect. But since Adam and Eve sinned, we are now all sinners. Later, Jesus was crucified and he rose. Now we can be born again.

Is the lion the witch and the wardrobe a reliogous allegory?
