The fan can run after you shut the engine down because the engine had overheated. If it stops after a few minutes this is what is happening. If it runs continuously, then the thermal relay is stuck, replace it.
A relay has gone bad.
When the key is turned off. When the key is turned off.
coolant temp switch or fan relay are bad.
to make sure the temperature of the fluid in the radiator is cool enough
Its not your engine. Its the fan running to cool the engine down. They all do it and nothing is wrong with your car.
Is the fan on all the time even with the key off? If so, it may be a problem with the actual fan speed controller. It may be the resistor if it only comes on when the key is on.
the cooling fan is designed to run after the engine is turned off. this is the case on all modern vehicles. Most people only notice this after a major repair due to sensitivity to not trusting the repair. Your radiator fan relay has failed. It is located under the front bumper cover under the passenger headlight. The fan is not supposed to run after key off on this Jeep.
With the key turned on ( not started ), click your parking lights on 3 times
The difference between the env touch and the voyager is that the voyager has the space key on the side, and the env touch has it in the middle. ithink the env touch is a little bit bigger too.
There is a heat sensor that allows the fan to stay on after the key is off to cool down the underhood temperatures. If the fan stays on as you have said, the sensor is most likely faulty or shorted.
Can't say for sure on the 2007, but my 2000 has a rocker switch at the top of the steering column to turn the parking lights on when the key is off.
You take hold of the key and pull towards yourself. If you turned the key, turn it back the original way you turned it then pull towards yourself
