There are pages and pages and items that can cause a check engine light. You need to have it checked for codes with a scan tool. After repair light can be shut off with scan tool.

NO it can not as there is a check valve located in the filler neck.
Unless you have a scanner or the equalivant then you think you reset it when in reality you have only had to reset the clock.
Is the check engine light "ON" and if so have you had it diagnosed? Did you replace the fuel filter when you replaced the pump?
That would work on cars before 1995 but it will not now. The computors have more knowledge and have to be reset with a scanner.
You have to take it in to a shop. I spent an Hour looking for a dipstick and it does not have one.
low side charging is on passenger side , between engine and firewall. about a fot down. if not there check near the right shock tower, there should be a" L" on the cap,

Check your fluid levels.
Have the Catalitict(SPelling off) convertor check.
Check the battery cables and ensure that they are CLEAN and TIGHT. That is the most overlooked thing.
