The cook's predeliction for pepper is never explained in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, but some critics think it might be a reference to the habit of lower class Victorians of putting excessive amounts of pepper in their cooking to disguise the low quality or lack of freshness of the meat used in their dishes.
The cook's obsession with pepper in "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" is whimsical and part of the story's nonsensical and fantastical elements. It adds to the chaotic and unpredictable nature of Wonderland, where ordinary things are exaggerated or distorted to create a sense of surrealism and absurdity.

No. Alice is not royalty. At least, there is no mention in either of the books to suggest that she is, so it is reasonable to assume that she isn't. In Chapter 9 of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Alice decides that "When I'm a Duchess...I won't have any pepper in my kitchen at all." (But she doesn't say it in a very hopeful tone) From this it can be inferred that her current rank is certainly below that of Duchess and that she is probably a commoner.

In the book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Alice first encounters the Cheshire Cat in Chapter 6, Pig and Pepper. He is sitting by the fire in the Duchess' house and smiling broadly. After Alice leaves the house, she sees him again, sitting in a tree, and talks to him for a while. The next, and last, time she meets him is in Chapter 8, The Queen's Croquet Ground, where only his head appears, much to the consternation of the King of Hearts.

The soup made by the Duchess's Cook in Alice in Wonderland is wrong because it tastes horrible due to the excessive amount of pepper added. The flavor is so strong that it causes everyone who tastes it to have uncontrollable sneezing fits.
In the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Alice visits three houses; the White Rabbit's house, the Duchess' house and the March Hare's House. The March Hare's house is where the mad tea party is being held, but as it is set out on the front lawn, Alice doesn't actually enter the house at all. The White Rabbit's house is where she grows and becomes stuck, and the Duchess' house is the one full of pepper which makes her sneeze. In the 1951 Disney version she visits the Hare and Rabbit's houses, as in the book, but doesn't visit the Duchess'.
The Mock Turtle (who appears in chapter IX) keeps sobbing all the time, even though the Gryphon insists there's no real reason for doing so.There's also someone who cries constantly in "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland": in chapter VI (Pig and Pepper), a baby who is initially nursed by the Duchess and then ends up in Alice's care cries all the time, despite the Duchess' rather violent attempts to make him stop. Alice carries the baby for a while but then it turns into a piggy and Alice is forced to let it go.

-the rabbit hole Alice initially goes down symbolizes stairs at the back of Oxford College's main hall. Carroll also uses other parts of Oxford and Christ's Church through symbolism. -Carroll pokes fun at mathematic revelations at that current point in time. ex. Caterpillar scene pokes fun at the abstract parts of algebra which, like the word hookah is arabic. In fact, the literal translation of the arabic word for algebra is "restoration and reduction" - He also uses satire in the mad hatter scene; quaternions, and the pig and pepper scene; projective geometry
