They shouldn't! It's not important for their future if their plan is to go nowhere and do nothing; if they never have a reason to find an appropriate place to live and to work; if they never have to make decisions about moving or investing in a home; never need to understand a government, its policies, and never plan to vote; if they never plan to travel or interact with people from other places. Nope, they don't need that stuff. Let other people worry about the future and the right things to do.

It is taught in school because teachers and people of the world would like young minds to learn the importance of our history and founding fathers. Also, they want us to know how it was like in the olden days.

Most school systems have strict rules about children bringing medicine to school. It should be sent to the teacher with instructions. You should inquire at the school to determine the procedure in your school system. Child endangerment could be involved depending on the age of the child, type of medicine and how much was given to the child. Most school systems have strict rules about children bringing medicine to school. Should parent's be prosecuted under the law if there kids dich?

No! Not ditching school is the child's judgment, and prosecuting the parent of the child has absolutely no effect on the child. If the child is going to skip school, the child should be punished.

When should you keep your kid home from school?

You should keep a child home from school if the sick child is registering a fever or is vomiting, or is known to have a contagious condition. School handbook's are a good source of information on what the school expects from the child and his parents.

What right do parents have when there child goes to school with seizures and what can school do for that parent?

The parents do have the right not to send the child to school on health grounds. They also have the option just to send the child part-time (e.g mornings but not afternoons). Potentially, (depending on local authorities) they have the right to paid home tutoring for their child. However, if the child is sent to school (for any length of time), the school should have the full (necessary) details of the child's medical condition, along with an action plan should a seizure occur. This plan should be arranged by organising a meeting with the parents (and potentially the child, depending on the child's age), in order to discuss the concerns of all parties. It helps if the parents have a clear idea of what they would like to be done to help their child; bring along a "checklist" of what should be done/who to call should their child have a seizure at school. The school should be prepared to give the child any necessary medication or first aid. If there is a school nurse, she should be made aware of the child's condition.

Should parents be fined if their kids skip school?

No, they should not be fined if their kids skip school. It is none of the school's business if a child skips school so long as the parent phones the school and tells them that their child is not coming to school today. If they do not phone, it is still not the school's business because the child might have a last-minute emergency.
