FYI I am using a Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS, but this may work with most any camera device that's not showing up.
I have tried using the CD, downloading the version from the website, updating the drivers through the device manager, installing via scanner/camera option in the control panel. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, and tryed repairing the install. I am getting errors that state DLLs are missing. The following worked for me.
1) Turn your camera on and connect it to the computer. Your camera should appear when you go to My Computer below the drive letters. (if not continue)
2) (in XP) Go to Start › Control Panel then click System. Click on the tab that says Hardware then click the Device Manager button.
3) Click the [+] sign next to the Universal Serial Bus Controllers look for your device. It normally will say the name of your camera. In my case it should show KODAK Z712 EasyShare or something along those lines. Right click on it an choose "Update Driver" then STOP and proceed to step 4 before hitting next.
4) Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)" and click Next.
5) Click finish. Now go to My Computer (or hold Windows Key+E) and the device should show up!
It depends on the camera but you could easily fit up to 4bg in a Kodak camera.
all you have to do is re sync it!
All of the several sources that I have looked up have indicated that the company that makes the easy share digital camera is, in fact, Kodak. You can find Kodak cameras online easily.
Kodak camera supplies and accessories are the perfect complement to a Kodak digital camera. Most customers are surprised at all the great products Kodak offers to support photographers at every level with any one of the company's cameras. Paper for printing digital photographs, camera batteries, lens care products, memory storage cards, lenses, filters, tripods and more are all available to help Kodak customers get the most enjoyment and performance from their investment. Kodak users should check their supplies every time they put their camera away so they are ready to use it next time.
unless you are trying to make yourself look stupid by charging your camera with your xbox you don't.
In 1961, Jet Propulsion Laboratory scientis Eugene Lally came up with an idea of how to make a digital camera for use in space vehicles. Also in 1975, Kodak engineer Steve Sasson helped build the first self-contained digital camera that used a charge-coupled device to capture images.
Kodak does make digital cameras that are the color green and will continue to produce them. Kodak is also working to make many environmentally friendly cameras as well and keep up this reputation.
