∙ 13y ago1st AnswerIt was made in 1091 medieval times. 2nd AnswerCardiff Castle was built by Robert Fitzhamon, lord of Gloucester, in 1091. He was a follower of William the Conqueror, and he had conquered Glamorgan. His purpose was to be able to defend Glamorgan from the Welsh who lived there.
