Jesus performed most all His miracles in the area of Roman occupied Palestine called Galilee, which is west of the Sea of Galilee.
Miracles such as the turning of the water into wine, health to the sick, giving sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, speech to voiceless, life to the dead.
He also did most of His teaching there as well.
The gospel of John chapter 20 verses 30 & 31 tell us:
30) And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31) But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Jesus predicted that the city of Jerusalem would be destroyed. Forty years before it occurred, Jesus gave specifics to its destruction: Jesus spoke of the temple being destroyed and the manner of its destruction. Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came to Him to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down" (Matthew 24:1,2). Just as he predicted the Romans came in stripped the gold off the glorious temple and tore down the stones.
After this he prophesied that they would be led away until a certain time, "they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. Finally Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled (Luke 21:24). Jesus also predicted that He would die, and who would be involved.
Jesus was in Jerusalem when he was 12 and was in the temple. His parents, Mary and Joseph, thought he was with friends and relatives when they left to return to Bethlehem. When they bedded down for the night He was not to be found. Mary and Joseph found Him in the temple discussing scriptures. He was not aware that they had worried about him because He thought they would know that the whole trip was for religious purposes and where else would He be.
