∙ 13y agoTerry Fox had cancer himself and he felt bad that other people did nothing, so he decided to run across Canada an raise money for cancer research. Pretty soon his cancer became very serious and he died but his dream still lives on! That's why in many schools and other places in Canada people run to raise money for those who are suffering or going through cancer right now. Hope this helped ! :)
