Glacier has several unique habitat zones that include megafauna that have been extirpated from much of their former ranges: wolves, grizzly bears, wolverines, elk, moose, and others. The park contains grasslands, montane forests, sub-alpine meadows and forests, Pacific Northwest forests, and alpine zones. It is the southern extent of Arctic plant & animal communities. It is also a significant geographic site located at the headwaters of drainages to the Pacific, Hudson Bay, and Gulf of Mexico. Culturally, it was a place of significance for the Blackfeet, Salish, and Kootenai tribes; the park contains spiritually significant sites. Glacier is also a place of uncommonly spectacular scenery. One visit to the park and you will understand: it is a gem even among national parks.
It has over 700 miles of hiking, it has the Going-to-the-Sun Road, which is 50 miles of perhaps the most beautiful scenery in the United States.
I am doing a report right now on Glacier, and I found this info, so hope it helps you:)
