Why would a narcissist tell me that I was right to be suspicious and right to let-go?

Being sarcastic, basically, they know when someone is onto them, there's ALWAYS a feeling of something not being "quite right" with an N. I experienced it from DAY 1 but the praise & attention was so overwhelming, it caused me to ignore my instinct, HUGE MISTAKE, never ignore your "gut" NEVER.
I thought for certain this was "it" the best relationship was forthcoming, ha! two words, NITE MARE, is what it actually was. The N I dealt with was good friends with my only sibling (sister) and we are close, and also a relative to my nephew, who I am also very close with. If nothing else, I thought if it doesn't work out we will remain friends, he treated me like sh*t knowing my nephew & sis would learn of it, it just doesn't matter with these types. If you have let go, keep going, fast and far far away.

Why would some one "wait." 10 years? it doesn't matter who you are waiting for if the person loved you they would demonstrate that love right away. So, if some one decides to put their life on hold for a narcissist i suggest to go get professional help as to why you would do such a thing. Plus, I think you would give as your life will change. A Narcissist thinks you have nothing better to do!!
Why would a narcissist agree to marriage if they are afraid of commitment?
Perhaps he (or she) has overcome his fear of commitment. And perhaps he has found the woman that he feels is genuinely right for him.

Why would ANYONE want to be with a narcissist? A codependent would be about the only type of personality that could tolerate being with a narcissist, and they will pay a terrible price. Dump the narcissist and get some help with the codependency. ACOA, CODA, Al-anon and Nar-anon are as close as your telephone.
