- Your ex boyfriend may have not checked his emails. As much as it may hurt you do not contact him again. The ball is in his court to contact you. He sounds selfish so if you were smart you would move on from your ex and find someone that treats you with a little more respect and can send a message with more than just 'hey.'

If you texted back you might have texted after he was sober. Or maybe since he was drunk he didn't notice until after that you replied. Either way you should take it as a sign because drunk texts let people say what they wouldn't be able to when he was aware of what he was doing.
