In that case, it is possible the blood is from irritation. It also can be from worms, altho they tend to have diarrhea with worms. No matter what, the dog or at least its fresh stool, needs to be seen by the vet asap.
There are also other conditions that can cause bloody stool.

∙ 16y agoIf its alot of blood please take the dog to the vet, Could be a foreign object passed thru, a twig, one of those dog chews, worms. If you are not going to take the dog to the vet feed some cooked regular rice and ground beef with grease drained for a day, see if blood stops, if not go to vet. How much blood is on the stool?
