Deep wells are often in flowing aquifers. (imagine an underground stream) this can carry soil or sediment and it occasionally gets pumped to the surface. Also, when a well is chlorinated or shocked, the deposits will make the water dirty for a few days.
Well........ If the water is dirty chances are if you bathe in it you will be dirty, and if you are dirty than you will get clean if you use soap and what not
That depends how deep the well was dug or drilled.
Bacteria.

Well the main reason they say is to take the dirty sediment out of the pipes by flushing it. There is a article below on this called Dirty Water.
well, the best way to dirty your turban is to wash it in muddy, dirty water and then walk down the street shouting: "My turban is dirty!!!" in a Paki voice...
It depends. Some can be only 4 or 5 feet deep. Some can run for miles and miles. It depends on the location and how far the well has to be dug to hit water.
Yes, it is .
Yes you can.

A deep well submersible pump can be simply placed into a shallow well and it will work. These pumps actually pump water directly and do not rely on suction. Simply cut your tube to desired length and place the deep pump in the shallow well. -NOTE- this does NOT work the other way - a shallow or jet pump is just that and can never work in a deep well.
Which well? Are the plants inside said well? How deep is aforementioned well?
