Certainly, It will work no matter how the unit is used, as long as it has line of sight to at least three satellites. The speed in which it makes corrections is constant and usually several times a second, therefore, whether you are walking or driving it works the same.

∙ 9y agoIf you're already completely satisfied by the GPS that you have, then there's no need to buy another one. However, a GPS gives more detailed directions, as well as the ability to look up many more places on the go.
